GM-14
A grave cross with clean lines. The long drawn-down back wall protects
as well as the wide, finished with shingles roof grave cross and the
Jesus figure.
The tablet is protected with an understated copper sheet
over the end grain from wetness. Likewise, a narrow strip of copper is
at an angle over the first course of shingles at the ridge called in to
seal out rain water.
As well as the separately prepared INRI panel is
up to the larch shingles all made of solid oak, not glued. The beam
thickness is 3.2 inch. The oak wood is treated with open-pore oiled,
and Glazes. A sturdy holding
device fixes the grave cross on the foundation.
