GM-06
Baroque grave cross with shingle roof. The crucified Jesus is
highlighted by a gray-tinted wreath of oak beams. The simple, removable
wooden plaque with the inscription is placed above the base-spread and
protected by a small copper plate as the first course of shingles.
The execution shown here is made entirely of oak, but the shingles
are made because of the longer durability of larch wood.
Good to see how stable holding device is bolted to the foundation.
The wide and guided at a shallow angle roof and rear wall pulled down
low to give the only 62 inch high cross on the grave an imposing
appearance - on the main page a photo of them in the winter.
